There is a lot going on with my life right now, this is the reason why I haven't published articles on a regular basis lately. It is a shame, I am sorry about it. I have many stress sources right now and I did not want the blog to be one more.
When you are stressed, my advice is to visit Olivier Robert's website. Olivier takes peaceful photographs, ones that help you relax. Olivier takes mostly black and white pictures in the Genova area. If like me you enjoy his work, you can buy prints of his photographs.
Olivier publishes photographs on a daily basis, although it is not written on his website he does a 365 project. When I told him about 365 projects, he answered he was actually hoping to go for a 730 or even a 1095 project. I wish him good luck!
And by the way, don't forget the contest ends in 4 days!!

365: Abdul Ludbah
People believe 365 projects are often self-centered. From my experience projects composed mainly of self-portraits are not always quality ones, and I have featured very few of them.
Abdul appears on every photo of his second 365 project, but he did not want to take a picture of his face every day. The result is quite interesting, I particularly like pictures of his hands.

365: marco|g
Today is thursday, and thursday is 365! Last week Ervic Aquino's 365 worked pretty well and I heard his family was jazzed about it.
marco|g has already completed 80% of his 365 project. What I enjoy most about his photos is that marco, like others, uses his own colour filter which gives an identity to his photos, making them recognizable as his.

365: Ervic Aquino
After deciding to write an article about Ervic Aquino's 365, I thought I did not have enough information about him and his project on his flickr account; so I asked him to tell me what he could/wanted to say about this project. And Ervic sent me this huge e-mail! Before even reading it I could see he his passionate about photography and this project in particular.
Ervic Aquino has started this project because he was wishing to get out of a rut, he wanted to make experiments and try new things, which he could not do during his paid shoots.
I can say with no doubt he is a perfectionist, as he admits he puts a lot of pressure on himself, always expecting the next photo to be better, keeping trying a technique until he fully masters it.
This project is mainly a family project, most photos include Ervic's children. They are active contributors to the quality of this 365, always making nice faces! It is great to have the support of your relatives, it is even better to have them involved in your projects.

365: Elkana Randrianaivo
I often write about the difficulties of running a 365 project and completing it. Well some photographers want to take the challenge to the next level.
Elkana Randrianaivo is one of them. He does not want to take any picture, he wants to push his boundaries and come up with a new idea every day. So basically he tries and build a photograph from an idea he has on mind, setting a scene and appropriate lighting. I feel this is a real artistic approach. Elkana told me he keeps learning from this project, I believe no matter your level as a photographer a 365 project is a good way to keep evolving.

365: Photon Thief
It is pure chance if today is the fourth time in a month that I write about iPhone photography. Interesting 365 projects are a rare breed and I certainly don't want to miss one for such a futile reason.
Photon Thief seemed very surprised I was wishing to write about his project. I like this project because there is a real effort to not shoot the same photo twice. It is easier to find your way and stick with it, his way of leading this project is more challenging.

365: Daniel Schneider
Daniel Schneider is a photographer who loves music and rockshows so much he has decided to take part in concerts through photography. You can check his site www.rapturedmind.com.
On the personnal side, Daniel has started, like many others, a 365 project. The funny thing about this project is that it will end the day before his birthday.

365: Andrius Aleksandravičius
Many people on the internet are all about their cats, and share countless pictures of them. Andrius Aleksandravičius has decided to make a whole 365 about cats. They really are cute, most people love them for that, but not everyone (like Boulet)!
Cats are a mystery, you never know what they have on mind. There's one thing for sure: they are photogenic!

365: Olivia Bell
When I have to face a challenge, I always feel the first half is the hardest part. I am sure Olivia Bell must feel relieved to get to the second half of her 365 project.
Taking a photo a day is challenging, but then there is processing and uploading, which includes finding a title and writing a description. It is quite a tough project to fit in, no wonder she hesitated to start it.
Half way is a good time to take a quick scan behind and see how it looks. Olivia Bell told me she feels her project has strengthened her photography, made her eyes see more than ever before. You can have a hint on my point of view by checking the numbers on the photos I selected: they are mainly recent pictures.
I wanted to talk about this project because it has something different from the other 365 I wrote about. It is both in the photographs and the processing done: it has a girly touch!
